Penyuluhan Hukum Penyelesaian Sengketa Pertanahan di Desa Sembalun Timba Gading

Abstract

This community service activity aims to address land dispute issues in Sembalun Timbang Gading Village through a legal counseling program. According to data from the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (2023), there has been a 15% increase in land dispute cases, with the majority of cases related to land boundaries and dual ownership. In Sembalun Timbang Gading Village itself, of the 85 recorded cases, only 30% were successfully resolved through village mediation. The implementation method comprises three main stages: coordination with village communities, literature review, and face-to-face socialization. The results indicate an improved public understanding of land dispute resolution mechanisms, despite challenges in comprehending legal terminology related to land law. This program is expected to create a legally aware community capable of resolving land disputes independently and peacefully, thereby contributing to enhanced social stability and overall village community welfare.
