This community service activity aims to provide understanding about legal protection regarding the prohibition of lobster exports in West Nusa Tenggara. The methods employed include coordination with Sigerongan Village, literature review, and socialization through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The activity was conducted in Sigerongan Village, Narmada District, West Lombok, involving village communities participating in the lobster empowerment program. The results indicated that throughout 2023, there were 156 recorded cases of illegal lobster catching with a total of 2,347 lobsters of various sizes in NTB. The socialization was conducted in two sessions discussing Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Regulation No. 17 of 2021 and sustainable lobster catching techniques. This activity successfully enhanced community understanding of the importance of legal protection and sustainable management of lobster resources, while strengthening community roles in preserving marine resources for the welfare of coastal communities.
